Can You Benefit From Failure?

Well what are some of the benefits of failure? First we have to know what failure is. Failure isn't when you haven't accomplished a goal or task, but when you give up when you couldn't complete the task at hand. That is what true failure is. A person who fails and doesn't learn from their mistakes, that is a failure.
When you start believing your circumstance is greater than your dream you are a failure. When people are counting on you and you knowingly let them down, you are a failure. Never trying in the first place, failure.
If you're smart you will learn from other peoples failure, so you don't make the same mistakes.

The Wrong Way To React To Failure

When it comes to failing, our egos are our own worst enemies. As soon as things start going wrong, our defense mechanisms kick in, tempting us to do what we can to save face. Yet, these very normal reactions — denial, chasing your losses, and hedonic editing — wreak havoc on our ability to adapt. We have to understand just because something didn't work, doesn't mean it's the end, learn what you can do differently, learn from your mistakes.

Try new things.

“Expose yourself to lots of different ideas and try lots of different approaches, on the grounds that failure is common.” Be open minded, some of the biggest problems are simple to solve , we like to over think things.

Remove emotions from the equation.

“It’s important to be dispassionate: forget whether you’re ahead or behind, and try to look at the likely costs and benefits of continuing from when you are.” Most of your decision making comes from how we feel about a particular thing or situation. Your emotions, if not under control can hinder your progress, by clouding your judgment. Everyone goes through the emotion roller coaster, you just have to be ready and know when to use logic over emotion.
Always think things through before making any decisions, weigh the pros and cons. Don't make irrational decisions just because your'e angry or sad or excited.
Anyone who has ever made it had to master their emotions, and learn from their mistakes. You don't need to be a genius, just have passion for what you are doing and stay motivated, don't be knocked off track, you have to keep that tunnel vision even when you can't see your goal clearly, because their is always sunshine on the other side of a thunderstorm.
